A California-based photographer specializing in documentary & lifestyle photography, telling an authentic story highlighting the most beautiful parts of being human.
ABOUT MISHA:
I was a fine art film photographer first, then a lifestyle marketing photographer, and now a documentary wedding photographer. I'm here to find the magic between the big moments, capture the emotion in the room, and the excitement that is building up to your wedding. The day is about your love, your vibe, and how your memories get to last with you, so my goal is for you to stay as present and be as much of yourself as possible. Your wedding day should be FUN, and we will find every way to celebrate.
As a covid bride, I get flexibility – I have been there! You do your best to plan for every scenario, but you keep reminding yourself that as long as you get to marry your person, you're golden. And that's where I come in, no matter what plans change or shift, I am going to be there for you every step of the way, camera in-hand. When the day is just a blur, I'm there to capture those nuggets of THAT moment, butterflies and all. It's your adventure, and I am in it with you! Let's trudge up a mountain with your wedding dress in hand; let's make coffee in the woods and watch the sunrise! Whatever expresses your love, I am here for it.
Fact 1.
Film photography was my first love, I geek out over the stuff. I'm always down to bring film into my shoots, or even polaroid (boudoir shoot anyone?)
FACT 02.
I met my partner while I was a camp photographer and he was a camp counselor. We flirted all summer before I moved to Australia and questioned every decision I ever made.
Fact 3.
I had three weddings! I was a pandemic bride (civil ceremony) with a European destination wedding and a stateside reception – I deeply understand flexibility and making the best out of all situations. (I also have SO many tips and tricks for planning a wedding, happy to chat about your process!!)
Fact 4.
If we plan your engagement session near a body of water, we most likely will both be getting wet. I don't make the rules.
